 One Parent Families|Gingerbread is the leading charity working to promote the interests and welfare of Britain's 1.9 million single parent families. We help single parents achieve their ambitions by providing training and support services and working to influence the policies that affect their lives.
 The Development and Skills team provides specialised learning and development opportunities for single parents who want to enhance their skills or return to work, empowering families to create a better future for themselves. We also provide training for professional advisors who work directly with lone parents. The team has existing long term partnerships with major corporate partners and local authorities, and organises training and workplacements across the UK.
 The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new opportunities in the field of development and skills, establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential funders and partners. You will lead and co-ordinate bids, working with colleagues, as well as negotiating contracts and SLAs.
 You will need:- A proven track record of generating income through identifying opportunities and following through with successful bids.
- An understanding of government priorities in the areas of learning and skills development, employability, and lone parent policy.

 Our main offices are in Kentish Town, London, and Moss Side, Manchester. The location for this national post is flexible.
