Holidays 2008: the guide for lone parents

If you plan to visit another country you may need a visa.

To find out whether you need a visa to visit a particular country, you should check with your travel agent or contact the UK consulate or embassy of the country in question.

Check in advance if there are any particular conditions - for example, you may need to have a certain number of months left on your passport.
