Home Front: what do mums and dads say they need to make life work?

Make sure the voice of lone parents is heard in discussions about work/life balance at Home Front at both www.dad.info/ and www.mumsnet.com.

Here at One Parent Families|Gingerbread we're pretty sure that lone parents aren't being listened to carefully enough in this debate. Your experience of balancing work and home life is probably very different, and more complicated, than for couple parents, and this is a good opportunity to let people know about it.

Live discussions are ongoing at both http://www.dad.info/ and http://www.mumsnet.com/. On both sites parents can:

chat to other parents about what works, or doesn't work, for them and their children.
share ideas or just let off steam.
read top tips and add their own.
help us develop ideas and policies that would make life easier for mums, dads and children.
contribute to live chats with politicians and experts.

All comments, ideas and suggestions will be fed into the Equality and Human Rights Commission to help them develop new work/life policies to present to Government.
