If you are unhappy with your child’s statement

If you are unhappy with your child's statement, and have been unable to resolve the issue with the local education authority, then you may wish to appeal.

The Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST) in England produce two leaflets entitled: Special Educational Needs: How to Appeal which includes an appeal form and Disability Discrimination in Schools: How to Make a Claim, as well as a video called: Right to be Heard.

In Wales the Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales (SENTW) performs a similar role.
