Employee Fundraising

Employee fundraising: Five-a-side football with Graham Taylor Whether it is part of a Charity of the Year partnership or just a one-off fundraiser, involves the whole workforce or a just a couple of employees, there are lots of ways to fundraise at work.

A partnership with One Parent Families can provide you with an excellent opportunity to unite staff towards a common goal, which will not only motivate your staff but also increase teamwork and loyalty to the organisation:
  • '88% of British employees believe that it is important that the organisation they work for is committed to living it's values, but only 45% believe their employer does' FastForward Research, 2003

  • '4 in 5 British employees say a company's demonstration of commitment to the local communities in which it operates has an impact on pride in the company they work for (1 in 5 say it has a great deal of impact)' 1,000 working British public, Corporate Citizenship Company/MORI, 2000.

We can discuss with you the best ways of organising employee fundraising whether it be a sporting event that they can take part in, a quiz night or even fundraising days within the office. Read our list of fundraising ideas from A-Z.

Employees can also take part in sporting events, treks and challenges!

Stephen Moir, at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group talks about the impact of their three-year relationship with One Parent Families. "The RBSG has been a supporter of One Parent Families for over two years, funding the Lone Parent Helpline. The football event gave staff the opportunity to engage with the charity directly for the first time. It also generated much-needed funds and raised the profile of the charity amongst RBSG staff."
