Come along to One Parent Families|Gingerbread's Annual Conference 2008!

Our main theme this year is combining work and family. With big changes to the benefits system on the horizon for single parents, this is your chance to catch up with how these might affect you. You'll also be able to meet lots of single parents, attend workshops and advice sessions, and find out more about One Parent Families|Gingerbread.

James Purnell MP, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, will give the keynote speech and take questions about government policies and how they may affect you.
Kate and Emily, authors of Kate and Emily's Guide to Single Parenting, will be there to give inspirational advice.
Karen Depasois, presenter on Manchester's allfm, will talk about her experience of being a working single mum.
Fiona Weir, Chief Executive, One Parent Families|Gingerbread
