Annual National Conference, 2006
The One Parent Families National Conference is the event of the year for lone parents, professionals working with lone parents, and anyone interested in the policy and practical issues surrounding lone parenthood and the family.

The conference will be held at the QE2 Conference Centre in London and as per normal, we will have a high ranking Government Minister as Keynote Speaker, eminent Debate Panellists and guest speakers. In 2005, Ruth Kelly, the minister for Education, was our keynote speaker. She addressed an estimated 500 delegates from a range of audiences including lone parents, various Government bodies and agencies such as New Deal and other family voluntary organisations.
Holidays 2006/7
Everyone needs a holiday, and when you're bringing up children alone you can need it more than most. But the cost and effort involved in arranging a holiday can be daunting. However, with some forward planning and the right information, it is possible to have a good-value break that suits every member of the family.

One Parent Families produced a Holidays guide in 2002 and 2003, which aimed to give lone parents an idea of what was available for one-parent families and help them to plan their next holiday in Britain or abroad. There were also practical tips and advice from lone parents through their own experiences.
Together
Our magazine is produced twice a year and has a distribution of 15,000. Opportunities currently exist for advertising/advertorial, possible product placement, and/or sponsorship.
