March 2005 In summary, we believe that to achieve the Government’s ambitious child poverty targets action is required on two fronts.

Firstly, uprating the levels of support provided to those both in and out of work, and secondly, ensuring that key policies are delivered effectively.

We look forward to improvements in both these areas.
