 Campaigning and advocacy
One Parent Families has always had a strong campaigning voice and we continue to promote the case for lone parents and their families through our policy and research work. We are particularly pleased that the pilot employment initiatives created and run by One Parent Families during the 1980s and 1990s are now widely acknowledged as having played a major part in the government's recent successes in helping lone parents into work.
