About our campaigns

June 2005

One Parent Families campaigns are aimed at key decision makers in Government to ensure that lone parents and their children are not disadvantaged and do not suffer from poverty, isolation, or social exclusion.

Our current campaigns include asking Government to:

End poverty in one parent families;
Ensure that there is a good quality affordable childcare place for every child;
Make part time work pay by increasing the National Minimum Wage.
