One Parent Families|Gingerbread Terms and Conditions

Membership to One Parent Families|Gingerbread is open to lone parents in England and Wales. You must understand and sign-up to these terms and conditions in order to become a member.

1. You must be a lone parent

2. You must agree to sign up to the Charity's Privacy Statement

What is the Charity's Privacy Statement?

All information that we hold concerning you as an individual will be held and processed by the Charity in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Such data will be used by the Charity for the purposes of administering your membership, keeping you informed about the activities of the charity and fundraising.

3. You must understand what your membership means

One Parent Families|Gingerbread (the Charity) membership is a non-voting category of membership open to all lone parent families in England and Wales. It is a continuous membership so you do not have to renew every year.

The scheme is operated on a 'Pay What You Can' basis. We will write to you every year to ask you to make a contribution, for what you can afford towards the cost of the scheme.

It is recommended that members pay £2 a month (or £24 annually) as this is how much it costs to run the scheme per member. It is only by members paying for the existing scheme and donating more that we can continue to run and expand our services for members. Benefits of Membership

Even if you cannot afford to give £2 a month, any contribution however big or small is really appreciated.
