Groups may be:

Affiliated: Affiliated Groups tend to be larger groups with a formal committee and a regular meeting place. They may run a number of activities or trips for group members and there may be a joining fee of up to £10 annually to aid administration costs. They are entitled to use the name Gingerbread through their affiliation agreement with us.

Friendship: Friendship Groups are smaller, informal groups that do not use the name Gingerbread and are more about meeting people in similar situations without the formality and rules of an Affiliated Group. That may meet in cafes, in each others houses or wherever they feel comfortable. Events in Friendship Groups will often be things like coffee mornings, picnics or other low cost activities.
