Would you like to get back to work but don't know where to start?

Horizons Your Work is a unique, free programme run by One Parent Families|Gingerbread and Barclaycard.

It combines a 3-day employability course linked to 2 weeks work experiences with local employer/volunteering opportunities.

Your Work can help you:
  • decide what you'd like to do;
  • understand how to go about it;
  • get the support you need to get moving.


It will boost your confidence and improve your chances of getting a job. And it's free!

Meals and travel costs are provided and there is help with childcare costs.

Who can join?
You can join the programme if you are:
  • bringing up school age or younger children on your own
  • eligible to work in the UK
  • starting to think about getting back to work.
